OLED Trainer
Runs full-screen, borderless color fields on a new OLED so it builds up its first hours with even wear and no static elements, while the TV's own compensation cycle (every 4 hours of use, in standby) does the actual leveling.
1. Set up the TV
- SDR picture mode (Standard or Filmmaker), moderate brightness.
- Leave Auto Off / Auto Power Off on. It puts the TV in standby after about 4 hours without a remote press, which starts the compensation cycle.
- Never unplug the TV after a session. Compensation runs for about 10 minutes in standby.
- Connected over HDMI from a PC? Label the input as PC.
2. Check uniformity (before and after)
Look for vertical bands, tint and dead pixels. Arrows / click / OK = next, Esc / Back = exit.
3. Run a warm-up session
Rendered live. Keeps the computer's screen awake. Press any key to see remaining time; Esc stops.
Plays a looping video, which is the only thing the TV's screensaver won't interrupt. Back stops.
At the end of the session the screen goes black. Turn the TV off, or let Auto Off do it, so compensation can run.
